In late 2016, Blalock and Partners teamed with local developer, ClearWater Homes, to pursue the purchase and redevelopment of the CenturyLink building in downtown Salt Lake City. The six story building allowed for a retail and commercial ground floor with the remaining five floors being dedicated as residential units. The approximate seventeen foot floor to floor dimension would allow for luxurious units with high ceilings and even split level loft configurations within a single unit. The upper three floors are pulled back from the perimeter of the lower three levels, allowing for large public terrace spaces that would offer expansive views of the Salt Lake Valley.
