Davis County’s new headquarters library is part of the new complex completing the Davis County civic campus in Farmington, Utah. The 22,000 square foot library houses an intensive technical services and processing wing that serves all branches in the Davis County Library system. In addition to the Collection, spaces include public meeting rooms, conference and study rooms, dedicated Young Adult area, Children’s Library and a Special Collections room. An inviting entry plaza is sized for public events and activities, while a private Children’s Courtyard is scaled for a more intimate setting.
White limestone cladding, wood-veneered panels and extensive use of glass work collectively to establish a sense of civic presence, inviting warmth and a seamless connection from interior to exterior.
