The fourth station for Lehi residents, Station 84 will be approximately 17,200 gross square feet on one level and include: a 4-lane Apparatus Bay; nine firefighter dorm rooms with a separate restroom zone; an Exercise / Fitness Room; a 25-30 person Training / Meeting Room; Day Room / Kitchen / Dining Area and support spaces for a fully-functional, efficient fire station. The station also incorporates a small mezzanine area accessed off of the App Bay.
The design team recognizes fire stations as important civic buildings which should have an appropriate civic response reflected in their design. In that aim, the building design serves as a beacon to the community with an open and inviting presence that can evolve with the growth of Lehi City. Construction is anticipated to be completed mid 2024.
